Crews are scheduled to begin night work this week on Missouri Flat Road. Crews will work three consecutive nights to restripe and add traffic capacity to Missouri Flat Road south of the US Highway 50 interchange. This work had been planned for an earlier date, but was postponed due to inclement weather.
Restriping work will occur– weather permitting – at the following times:
9:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5th to 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 6th
9:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6th to 5:00 a.m. Thursday, February 7th
9:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7th to 5:00 a.m. Friday, February 8th
At least one lane of traffi c will remain open through all legs of the
interchange at the times listed above, but
motorists should expect delays.
During the day on Wednesday, February 6 and Thursday, February 7, Missouri
Flat Road will be striped
with temporary traffic markers. Motorists are advised to drive with caution and
be aware of temporary shifts
in lane configurations. Once restriped, traffic will be redirected to the new
alignment by 5:00 a.m. Friday,
February 8th. (Any inclement weather that may occur will delay the schedule.)
